The importance of mathematics to construction
Imagine building your very first home or making your first set of cabinets without ever having to know how to read a standard tape measure. Well you have over slept and is still dreaming. Just the very thought of building or making anything requires you to understand how to read a tape measure which includes fractions, decimals, equivalents etc.

I agree, now days construction workers especially carpenters are in high demand however a large number of them don't have the needed skill to keep up.
